31 Birthday Freebies You Must Know About
If you’re anything like me, then I know you love to celebrate your birthday!
And here’s something I bet you didn’t know.
Many retailers love to celebrate alongside with you and will often gift free products and/or discounts, just for your birthday! It can be a fantastic way to try something new or to indugle on the item you’ve had your eye on.
The best news? I’ve done all the researching and work for you!
This past September, I celebrated my birthday and spent it shopping for birthday freebies with my best friend. We share the same birthday, so we’ve made it part of our tradition to do this together. This can also be a fun idea if you’re not sure what to do on your special day.

Before we started our shopping adventures, we had to start with fueling ourselves. What were our local options?
Arnie’s - Receive a dessert for $3. I’m not sure if this was standard, but it was the option available to me that day.
Auntie Anne’s - Receive a free pretzel (I believe) on your birthday. You must sign up for their rewards program. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to redeem this freebie and cannot verify.
Baskin Robbins - Receive a free scoop of ice cream on your birthday when you join their birthday club rewards program.
Buffalo Wild Wings - 6 Free wings when you join the Blazin’ Rewairds
Chick-fil-A - Depending on your reward level tier, you can receive many different options! For members, you’ll have the choice between a Chocolate Chunk Cookie or Chocolate Fudge Brownie. For Silver members, choose between the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Cookie, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Small Milkshake, Small Frosted Lemonade, Small Frosted Coffee, or a small Icedream®. For Red Members, choose between a grilled or regular sandwich or a 8-12 piece chicken nugget. Signature members will receive an entrée of choice.
Chiptole - Receive free chips and guacamole on your birthday with a $5+ purchase. When you sign up for their reward program, you’ll also receive a free beverage!
Crumbl - One free cookie when you download their app and sign up for rewards. Good for up to 40 days after your birthday,
Denny’s - Receive a birthday treat during your birthday month, when you sign up for the Denny’s Rewards program. Rumor has it - it may be a free grand slam breakfast.
IHop - Receive a free stack of pancakes on your birthday when you sign up for MyHop, IHop’s rewards program. Because I’m gluten intolerant, they have been accommodating in the past for this.
Jamba Juice - Receive a free smoothie when you sign up for the rewards program. A minimum of 15 points is required to reedem.
The Keg Steakhouse - Receive a free complimentary entrée with your purchase of an entrée. You’ll receive an offer code via email.
Krispy Kreme - Receive a free original glazed dozen donuts on your birthday when you sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards
Red Robin - Receive a free burger or choice with the Red Robin’s Royalty Program. No other purchase necessary.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse - Choose a free dessert with your visit.
Starbucks - Receive a free beverage or food item on your birthday with your Starbucks Rewards card.

Abercrombie and Fitch - Receive 25% off $75 or more for an entire month when you sign up for MyAbercrombie rewards program. You’ll receive a special discount code to your email.
Aerie - Receive a free undie with any purchase. A unique code will be sent to your email.
Aveda - Receive a free 30 oz oil of your choice. Options include shampure, beautifying, and stress fix for being a loyalty rewards member! No purchase necessary.
Banana Republic - Receive a free birthday treat when you sign up for their loyalty program.
Bare Minerals - Receive a free lipstick when enrolled in their Good Rewards Loyalty Program. The only stipulation I found was that you must have made a purchase within the last 2 years to qualify. I had not purchased in the last two years, so I did not qualify for this gift. Fair enough.
Bath and Body Works - Receive a free item worth $8.95 when you download their app and enroll in their rewards program. Rumor has it, that you may even be eligible for a free item up to $16.00.
The Body Shop - Receive a free gift when you sign up for a rewards member. You must enroll in their rewards program a full month before your birthday otherwise, you won’t be eligible for that year.
DSW - Receive a $5 birthday reward when you enroll for the free DSW VIP Club
Kendra Scott - Receive a coupon for 50% on one item when you sign up for email.
The Loft - Receive a free $10 off coupon when you join their styleREWARDS loyalty program.
Nars Cosmetics - Choose a Mini Cheek and Lip Duo in Orgasm or Laguna with a $50 purchase.
Olive and June - Enjoy a free nail polish with a $25 purchase minimum. You’ll receive a special code in your email. I believe you must be a member in order to receive the discount.
Pandora - Take 10% off your next purchase. An exclusive code will be sent to your email when you join the Pandora Club rewards program.
Sephora - receive a free curated makeup or skincare gift. Simply go in and choose your favorite!
